Autumn and the Start of Cold & Flu Season

The weather has been crazy this year! Am I right? The temperatures have been all over the place. Now October is here and it seems like it's finally starting to feel like fall.

On Saturday after soccer, we were driving to the library and Renee got stung in the belly by a Honey Bee.

I have to the unit was a little larger than I was expecting. I ended up placing the humidifier on my floor, basically out of necessity. I'm limited on counter space and that seemed to be the best place for it.

I ran the humidifier on the highest settings for 12 hours and one of the tanks still had half a tank of water left. There are 2 water tanks with a 3 gallon total capacity. There are 3 speed settings to adjust moisture output and sound level. The highest setting is reminiscent of a white noise machine. I know my family will get a lot of use out of my new Honeywell Console Humidifier with Cold and Flu Season upon us. Winter is always dry in Maine, so this will definitely help us all stay healthier. Our pets aren't bothered by the humidifier and I think they'll come to appreciate the added humidity; as well. It is my  hope that it will help their skin from drying out, resulting in less scratching.
