Setup was easy and straightforward. Quick Start Instructions were printed on the inside of the box. There are 2 ways to fill the water reservoirs: leave them on the console and bring the water to the console or fill the tanks at the tap. For a rather simple looking machine this humidifier is loaded with features!

I have to the unit was a little larger than I was expecting. I ended up placing the humidifier on my floor, basically out of necessity. I'm limited on counter space and that seemed to be the best place for it.
I ran the humidifier on the highest settings for 12 hours and one of the tanks still had half a tank of water left. There are 2 water tanks with a 3 gallon total capacity. There are 3 speed settings to adjust moisture output and sound level. The highest setting is reminiscent of a white noise machine. I know my family will get a lot of use out of my new Honeywell Console Humidifier with Cold and Flu Season upon us. Winter is always dry in Maine, so this will definitely help us all stay healthier. Our pets aren't bothered by the humidifier and I think they'll come to appreciate the added humidity; as well. It is my hope that it will help their skin from drying out, resulting in less scratching.
